How to rig a Jerkshad using sinkers style

This is the method I use to rig 5″ Jerkshads for when I want a slow sink rate. Especially useful on Snapper and Kingies when fishing hard up in the island washes. The hook is a Mustad Hoodlum livebait hook, and work really well due to the eye being so large. This act’s as the tow point and prevents spinning of the bait. Choose the sinker weight and line class to suit the target and conditions.

Ok, so this isn’t Texas style as it isn’t weedless – what it is though is an effective way of rigging a jerkshad when you don’t have the ideal size jig head.
